Butt Out: Woman moons neighbors after dispute | News

An ongoing problem between two neighbors ended up with one neighbor showing her pantsless backside, according to sheriff’s deputies.

According to a Lexington County Sheriff’s Department incident report, officers were dispatched to a home in Chapin in reference to a civil dispute on June 24.

Upon arrival, deputies spoke with a 37-year-old woman who stated that she’s having an issue  with her neighbors, the report stated. The victim and her husband added that there are at least two other complaints on file with the department.

The 37-year-old woman told deputies that her 40-year-old female neighbor got up in her face and threatened her, the report stated. The 37-year-old neighbor even told officers that she stepped away to avoid a physical altercation, deputies say.

Deputies say the 40-year-old woman went into the middle of the street and pulled her pants down to moon her neighbors.

The victim’s husband came outside and threatened to get his gun.

According to the report, the victim and her husband got in their vehicle and did not return.

According to the 40-year-old woman, she claims she did nothing wrong to provoke her neighbors and believes she is the true victim. The 40-year-old neighbor added that the 37-year-old woman drove by her house and threw a knife, the report stated.

Both parties were placed on trespass notice.
