Chapin Police say a case of mistaken identity caused a Bi-Lo employee to be threatened with a gun in the store's parking lot this weekend.
Police say the employee was approached by three people in a silver Dodge Durango.
As one of the passengers was speaking to the employee, another passenger showed the employee a handgun tucked in his waistband and issued a threat.
However, the driver then told that passenger was threatening the wrong person.
